What is a Project?
Per definition, a Project is a temporary endeavor undertaken to create a unique product, service or result. Managing a Project involves application of knowledge, skills, tools and techniques to project activities to meet the project requirements.
What is Constrained Optimization?
Constrained optimization is an optimization problem where some (or all) variables are constrained. Within Project Management space, optimization means creating a plan that has the best possible use of your project’s limited resources.
Now, most projects (especially medium and large projects) have multiple stakeholders, and (without having a sliver of doubt) those stakeholders always have their own biases and their own priorities - which may or may not be conflicting with other stakeholders (seldom non-conflicting). So how do business leaders and project managers in general deal with such conflicting priorities?
