When people ask AI, does your brand come up?
Your customers are asking ChatGPT, Gemini, Copilot and Perplexity before they ever reach Google. We measure whether AI recommends you, fix the content so it does, and prove the change with real numbers.
Search moved. Most brands can’t see where they stand.
Answer engines don’t return ten blue links — they return one answer and name a few sources. If you aren’t one of them, you are invisible at the exact moment of decision. Traditional rank tracking cannot see any of this.
They ask the AI
Buyers ask an assistant for options, comparisons and recommendations instead of scrolling a results page.
The AI picks a shortlist
The model answers with a handful of brands and sources it considers trustworthy for that question.
You’re on it — or you’re not
There is no page two. Either the answer names you, or your competitor gets the introduction.
See it. Fix it. Prove it.
A complete answer-engine programme — measurement, remediation and reporting — run on your own stack, with your approvals and your brand standards.
See it
Fire real queries at every major engine and measure how often you are cited, mentioned, where you rank in the answer, and how you are described.
Fix it
Restructure the content you already have into the formats answer engines extract and quote — schema, entities, FAQs, llms.txt, citable summaries.
Prove it
Baseline first, then report movement. Citation rate, share of voice, position and sentiment — numbers that survive scrutiny.
What we actually measure
Four signals that together describe whether AI trusts you — not a single vanity score.
Tools you can run yourself, today
We built the measurement layer ourselves. It’s free to try — no sales call required — and it’s the same engine behind our client programmes.
AI Citation Tracker
Fire real queries at Claude, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and Copilot. See your citation rate, brand mentions, answer position, sentiment, and a ranked leaderboard of every source AI cites in your space.
Run the tracker →AI Citability Scorer
Score any page — including an unpublished draft — for how likely AI is to quote it, across seven structural signals, before you publish.
Score your content →Topical Authority Gap Map
Map every priority topic against every engine to see exactly where AI ignores you — then turn any gap into a ready-to-brief content plan.
Map your gaps →Every industry where people ask AI before they buy
The mechanics are the same everywhere — only the questions change. We run this for organisations of all sizes and sectors.
Diagnostic-to-Deploy™, applied to AI visibility
Baseline
We measure where you stand today across every engine and every priority topic. Nothing is reported that hasn’t been baselined first.
Diagnose
We identify which topics you lose, which engines ignore you, who is winning your category, and the structural reasons why.
Restructure
We rework the content you already own into extractable, citable formats — and add the technical signals engines rely on.
Re-measure
We re-run the same queries and report the movement against your baseline. Same method, like-for-like.
Sustain
A monitoring cadence and a refresh backlog so visibility holds as models and competitors change.
Measurement is the part most agencies skip
Plenty of teams will write you content. Very few can tell you whether AI actually started citing it.
Built, not resold
We built our own measurement engine. You see the whole method — every signal, rule and workflow is inspectable. No black box, no proprietary score you can’t interrogate.
We measure before we promise
Every engagement starts with a baseline. We will not quote you a lift number we haven’t earned.
Runs on your stack
Microsoft 365, SharePoint, Azure or your existing CMS. Your data stays in your environment, inside your approval and compliance workflow.
Measurement-only is fine too
Already have an agency writing your content? We can supply the AI-visibility measurement layer alone, so you know whether their work is landing.
AI visibility, answered
What is AI visibility?
AI visibility is how often — and how favourably — answer engines such as ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, Google Gemini and Microsoft Copilot cite or name your brand when someone asks a question in your category. It is measured by running real queries against those engines and recording whether your URL is cited, whether your brand is named, where you appear in the answer, and how you are described.
How is it different from SEO?
Traditional SEO optimises for a ranked list of links. Answer engines return a single synthesised answer that names only a few sources. Ranking well on Google does not guarantee an AI engine will quote you, because engines favour content that is structurally easy to extract and attribute. The two disciplines overlap but are not the same.
How do I check whether AI cites my website?
Run a set of real questions from your category against each engine and record which sources are cited in the responses. You can do this manually, or run our free AI Citation Tracker, which fires the queries automatically across five engines and reports your citation rate, brand mentions, answer position and sentiment.
Which AI engines should I track?
At minimum ChatGPT, Google Gemini and AI Overviews, Perplexity, Microsoft Copilot and Claude. Which matters most depends on your audience — Copilot skews to enterprise and Microsoft-centric organisations, Perplexity to research-heavy queries, ChatGPT to general consumer and professional use.
How long does it take to improve AI visibility?
It depends on how often the engines re-crawl and refresh their sources for your topics, which varies by engine and by subject. We baseline first, make the structural changes, then re-test with the same query set so any movement is measured like-for-like rather than estimated.
Do I have to replace my existing agency?
No. Measurement can be supplied on its own. If another team is producing your content, we can run the AI-visibility measurement layer alongside them — or build it into your own dashboard — so you can see independently whether the work is landing.
