SharePoint Development & Automation.

A SharePoint environment your team will actually use — designed around how work really happens, not how the template assumes it does.

The situation:
Documents scattered across drives, emails, and SharePoint sites nobody navigates An intranet that was built once and never adopted Collaboration happening in email threads instead of shared spaces

Most SharePoint implementations fail — not because of the technology.

They fail because of poor design, weak information architecture, and no adoption strategy. The result is a SharePoint that nobody uses, documents in three different places, and teams who’ve quietly gone back to shared drives.

We design and build SharePoint environments that solve real problems — clear navigation, logical structure, and workflows that make work easier, not harder. Then we make sure your team actually adopts it.

How it works

How a SharePoint engagement works

Most SharePoint builds, including our SharePoint Clean-up and Migration package, run 3–5 weeks once started. Every project includes an adoption plan, because a SharePoint that is well built but never used has not solved anything.

  1. Scope the job

On a free 30-minute call we agree what you need (an intranet, document management, a project hub or a migration), where documents live now and, if SharePoint was tried before, why it did not stick.

  2. Audit content and permissions (week 1)

We review existing sites, libraries, file shares and permissions to find duplicates, outdated content and oversharing, and agree what moves, what is archived and what is deleted.

  3. Design the structure (weeks 1–2)

We design the information architecture with your team: sites, navigation, metadata, permissions and retention, so documents are findable and controlled.

  4. Build, automate and migrate (weeks 2–4)

We build the environment, add Power Automate workflows for approvals, notifications and data capture, apply your branding, and migrate content into the new structure.

  5. Train and drive adoption

Users and site owners are trained on how to work in the new environment, with simple guides and a launch plan. You get 30 days of support after go-live.

Pricing

What it costs

SharePoint projects are quoted as a fixed fee, including the SharePoint Clean-up and Migration package, which is priced after a short call. We work on fixed fees, not hourly rates: one price, a defined scope and a timeline, agreed before anything starts. If the work takes us longer than planned, that is our risk, not yours, and any change in scope is re-quoted before the next phase rather than added to an invoice.

The main things that move the price are:

  • The volume of content and number of sites or file shares to migrate
  • The complexity of permissions and retention requirements
  • The number of Power Automate workflows
  • Custom branding, intranet features and training needs

We normally invoice SharePoint work half at the start and half on delivery (40/30/30 for bigger scopes), in CAD. A short brief is all we need to return a fixed-fee proposal within 48 hours.

FAQ

Common questions

Why did our previous SharePoint rollout fail?

Most SharePoint rollouts fail because of poor information architecture and no adoption plan, not because of the technology. People could not find things, so they went back to email and shared drives. We design around how work happens and train people to use it.

Can you migrate from file shares or an old SharePoint?

Yes. We migrate from legacy SharePoint, network file shares and other document platforms. The audit beforehand means you move only what you need, into a clean structure.

Will you fix oversharing and permissions?

Yes. The content and permissions audit identifies files and sites that are shared too widely. This is especially important before rolling out Microsoft Copilot, which can surface anything a user has access to.

Can SharePoint automate approvals and document workflows?

Yes. Power Automate works with SharePoint for approvals, notifications, data capture and task routing. For documents such as invoices and contracts, Document AI can also extract and route data automatically.

Do we need custom development for a SharePoint intranet?

Usually not. Modern SharePoint can deliver a professional, branded intranet with news, team sites and leadership messaging using built-in features, which keeps it easier to maintain.
